CEO Roundtable: Building Resilient, Sustainable and Inclusive Value Chains

Trade, Investment and Development Agencies (TIDAs) have played an exceptionally important role in 2021 with governments counting on them to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. While their efforts have helped kick-start recovery, the crisis has brought attention to the critical importance of resilient and reliable value chains as well as accelerated the regionalization of trade and investment flows. Given this context, and the desire to grow collaboration expressed in the group’s inaugural meeting, the World Economic Forum invites the heads of TIDAs to gather in the 2^nd CEO Roundtable of the community.

The purpose of the meeting is to exchange experience and discuss cooperation to tackle challenges to value chains. The conversation will especially consider: (i) rapidly evolving patterns of supply and demand, and (ii) social and environmental goals in the management of value chains.
